Photo Gallery «LMX Sirex 2300 HCS - Italian designer sports bike with Ford engine»
Less than fifty vehicles are said to have been produced by LMX Automobile S.R.L. (Linea Moderna Executive) between 1968 and 1974. The company founded by Michel Liprandi and Giovanni Mandelli only produced one model, the Sirex designed by Franco Scaglione. The lightweight, attractive sports coupé with a Ford engine was a serious sports car with potential. In terms of price, it was on a par with an Alfa Romeo 1750 Coupé Veloce or the Lancia Fulvia, but its performance was not on a par with its famous competitors, and unfortunately it was not a success.
