A car perfect for the regulars' table? At least, that's what the speedometer of the Alfa Romeo Giulia 1300, the economy model for export, which sometimes indicates 200 km/h, would have you believe. But there is more to the affordable Giulia, as its temperament and driving safety are on a par with the best. Only the workmanship could be better. At least that's what the testers of the magazine 'hobby' found during road tests in 1964. This article reproduces the original wording of the test report at the time and supplements it with many historical photos of the Giulia as well as an original brochure.
