In 1948, Jaguar presented the XK 120 in London, which eclipsed anything that could be bought for similar money at the time. However, the new sports car was not only fast, but also beautiful and surprisingly comfortable, so that nothing stood in the way of its success. This driving report uses an example from 1952 to try to understand how the XK 120 impressed observers and test drivers at the time and shows the car in many pictures and archive material.
