Photo Gallery «Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.6 - Transaxle with tatüü»
From 1977 to 1985, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Tipo 116) was produced almost 400,000 times as the successor to the legendary Giulia. Based on the transaxle technology of the Alfetta and equipped with modern bodywork, it not only won over Alfa fans, but also the Italian police, who added it to their fleet. In any case, the Alfa offered more space in the rear than its predecessor. This driving report portrays a 1.6-liter sedan from 1980 in the Polizia version and shows the Alfa Romeo, which has matured into a classic, in modern and historical pictures as well as in the sales literature.
