Photo Gallery «Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ 2 - a Granturismo off the road»
In the early sixties, the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ was one of the cars that had to be beaten in its class. This changed when the competition, e.g. Porsche 904, Ferrari Dino 166 with mid-engine and lightweight construction, launched a counter-attack. Autodelta followed suit and improved the TZ with more power and a significantly flatter plastic body; the TZ 2 was born. This report describes the history of the Alfa Romeo TZ 2 and shows it in current and historical pictures.
