Photo Gallery «Alfa Romeo Giulia SS - aerodynamic wonder for everyday use»
The elegant coupé that Bertone presented in Turin in 1957 only had an engine capacity of 1.3 liters, but it was capable of a top speed of over 200 km/h. Impressive. A racing career was on the cards, but things turned out differently. With almost 2800 units produced, the Granturismo coupé was certainly a commercial success and it is still popular today and much admired for its unusual design. This report portrays a 1.6-liter Giulia from 1964 and shows it in many current and historical pictures, which also impressively illustrate its predecessors.
