This is a story you don't hear every day! Romeo Gross is a photographer and his great love is for the Alfa Romeo brand, which is hardly surprising given his first name. He was particularly taken with the iconic TZ car. And he had set himself an unusual task. Instead of photographing an entire beautiful Alfa Romeo Giulia Tubolare Zagato like so many others, he wanted to photograph all the individual parts. Only original parts were considered and the hunt for these was like the proverbial search for a needle in a haystack. After all, the parts were not supposed to be built-in, but visible. This resulted in countless phone calls, thousands of kilometers and hundreds of hours of work over the course of thirteen years. And, of course, a network of contacts and a knowledge of which parts were really original and what a complete Alfa Romeo TZ 1 consists of.
