Third of the 3 prototype coupes based on the 1965 TVR Griffith 200, built in steel in 1965 by Carrozzeria Fissore of Turin and one of only two still on the road.
Shown at the Turin Salon November 1965 before delivery to TVR and largely dismantled.
Never driven until acquired by current owner in 1986 and fully rebuilt to correct specification with US Ford 289 ci V8 with 4-speed manual box. 4-barrel Holley carb engine produces approx. 225 bhp.
Only driven 13,000 miles from new. Bodywork restored to concours standard 2018/9 with many new steel panels then resprayed in Rosso Alfa. Extensive Show history, incl the Cartier Style et Luxe at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and many others; also featured in many magazines and books.
Not to be confused with glassfibre Trident Venturer/Clipper cars as they do not share one single part apart from the V8 engine in the Clipper.
The first-ever chance to acquire this ultra-rare, beautiful Condition 1 sports car at a very attractive price (compare the price with the 1962 AC MA-200 prototype currently For Sale for GB£800,000) and which is eligible for entry into any concours d’elegance you could name.
