Beschreibung

Komplett originaler 1927 Rolls Royce 20 HP mit H.J. Mulliner Weymann Sports Saloon Karosserie. Großes Schiebedach. Zuverlässig und Rally-tauglich, die Sauerland Rally in 2019 problemlos und pannenfrei gefahren.

Chassis N° GHJ6

Engine N° O3L

Registration NF 4599

Ordered by Joseph Cockshoot & Sons of Manchester and bodied by H.J. Mulliner of Chiswick, London.
Mulliner constructed the super-light but sturdy and silent coachwork under the patent of flight pioneer Charles Weymann, as evidenced by the Weymann Plaque located next to the Mulliner sill plate.
The body is of a particularly dainty & pretty design. The spare is rear mounted on the boot which opens by releasing three coach locks with the square T handled tool, and the car has a large, easily sliding sunroof for breezy summer motoring.
This car has resided for decades in central wales and is one of those rare unknown original survivors having recently emerged from its long-term garage and brought into our collection.
This is a rare untouched car with the only non-original items being the carpets & the headlining which have been well redone. Overall it has a delightfully oily rag feel about it, but without doubt is in better then oily rag condition. The exterior is faded green paintwork with black wings. To the interior is black leather matched to green carpets. All the wood work is of burr walnut & has its original finish as when it left Mulliner’s Bedford Park Works in Chiswick.
Technically, the car runs and drives great, and the reliability has just proven by finishing hundreds of miles through the hills of the Sauerland Klassik Rally without a single fault.
